The Skywalker NAT1001 uses corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum alloy the helps prevent liquid from freezing or evaporating. This commpass is highly accurate with easily readable scales. This compass has been threaded for mounting on a tripod; for measuring slope, height, compass bearings, directional indications amd vertical angles. Lastly, there are scale cards that run on special bearings in hermetically sealed plastic containers filled with a liquid which guarantees that they run freely and stop quickly.
